We follow a disciplined, quantitative approach to designing your portfolio,
using modern portfolio theory and asset allocation techniques.  First,
through meetings and discussions, we assess your attitude toward  risk
and volatility.  We get an understanding of your "investment personality"
and your reasons for investing. Then we perform the research and analysis
necessary to design a portfolio that suits you. 

We meet with you regularly to review the performance of your investments
and to discuss any changes in your plans.

Our general investment approach is based on a long-term outlook. We 
include value, growth, and income oriented investments, and diversify 
among large and small cap stocks, bonds, and foreign securities. This is 
done mainly with no-load mutual funds but may include individual stocks 
and bonds, in accounts at a high quality discount brokerage firm.  

We only accept those clients whose investment personality and objectives
are consistent with the Main Street Financial approach.  We resist following
the herd and we do not believe in aggressive risk taking.
